We are the Champions...

Hey Everyone!!

Just wanted to let you all know, that we are now the 2007 Riverside Summer Shootout Champions!!!! Congratulations Velocity!! We really worked hard that last game, and we definitely played as a team. The weather was beautiful! Thank goodness!!! Anyways, the final score was 11-0. I was excited because I scored too! I'll post pictures of the trophey, as soon as I get a chance. Well, just wanted to let you guys know how that went. I had a great time at the tournament, and look forward to letting you know how the rest of our season goes!! until then,

PS~My dad said that my little brother's game went well, but at that level, they don't keep track of the score. But my other brother's game was canceled because of the weather here. Makes me appreciate the good weather in Ashville!!!

Tourney This Weekend...

Hey Everyone,

Practices started last week. Things are already up and going. (Hard to believe it!) Where did the summer go?? Anyways, just wanted to let you guys know I have a tournament this weekend in Ashville. And again, like I hope with all tournaments...I hope the weather cooperates. But I'm hoping to come home with a medal. =) Both of my brothers have games this weekend, so I'll let you guys know how that goes, along with my tournament scores. Well, just wanted to inform you all of that. Wish us luck! Go Velocity!!!!!!! Oh Yeah!!!!!!!!! And if you play soccer ~Good luck with your season.

Soccer Update...

Hey Everyone,

Just wanted to let ya'll know that I will be playing on 2 teams this fall! I am very excited about it. It will take a lot of commitment and dedication, but I really feel like this is a good experience for me. My official soccer practices start next week, and the tournaments are coming up too. I love soccer, but this extremely hot weather is killing us out there. Here's an old saying that I made up that always keeps me going. You know you are a true soccer player when you are fully dedicated and come to as many practices and games as you possibly can. You know you are dedicated to soccer when you give your best. And you know you are giving your best when you win games. best of luck to all of you, no matter what your game is.
